Silver Brook Energy originates and maintains a small, selective portfolio of highly competitive renewable energy projects—averaging 30 MW in active development.
Check out a few examples of our current efforts…
Solar Arrays
Silver Brook Array
1.99 MW AC Solar Array in Montville, CT
Built upon our active family farm in Montville. This array laid the groundwork for our legal and financial partnerships, and provided us a perspective not only as a developer, but more importantly as a landowner and farmer—allowing us to better advocate for others in the same situation.
Gadbois Array 1
1.0 MW AC Solar Array in Salem, CT
Constructed for a Connecticut farmer nearing retirement. This array will provide 30 years of annual revenue to the farmer in the form of a long-term land lease.
Gadbois Array 2
2.0 MW AC Solar Array in Salem, CT
This array is being constructed for a farmer on the site of a former gravel quarry that was unable to be repurposed for crop production.
Colchester Transfer Array
Two-Phase Project in Colchester, CT:
Phase 1: 4.999 MW AC Array
Phase 2: 2 MW AC Array
Located on and around a former town landfill, Silver Brook is proud to partner with the Town of Colchester to repurpose this town-owned land for clean energy projection, and provide multiple long-term revenue streams back to the Town and it’s residents.
Bokum Array
1 MW AC Array in Old Saybrook, CT
Located off a quiet road in Old Saybrook, this array was designed with an intentional set-back to minimize observability and maintain the quaint setting of the area.
(Proposed) Rollinsford Array
Proposed – 3.58 MW AC Array in Rollinford, NH
Silver Brook is proud to be the originator and developer of choice by the Rollinsford Energy Commission. This project, if approved, will bring three long-term revenue streams to the Town of Rollinsford. At the end of its service life, the array will be removed and the field restored to its original condition.
